Better late than never...right?
Friday night, we went to dinner with friends and saw "The Heat." I really wasn't expecting much, but it was hilarious. It's one of those movies you could probably watch a time or two before catching all the jokes because you laughed through them the fist time.
Tried a recipe for alfredo sauce made from cauliflower (http://pinchofyum.com/healthy-fettucine-alfredo) and it was surprisingly delicious. I would recommend adding the water a little at a time, mine ended up a little thin. I have a ton leftover that I've frozen for future use. The only downside was all the dirty dishes I was left with at the end.
Tried this DIY foot spa from Pinterest (Mix 1/4 c Listerine, 1/4 c vinegar and 1/2 c of warm water. Soak feet for 10 minutes and when you take them out the dead skin will practically wipe off.) Turns out the description was a tad off. The dead skin didn't "practically wipe off." I think it would have been about the same if I just soaked my feet in warm water, and probably wouldn't have smelled as weird either.
Had some orange burlap and got a little carried away with my door hanger crafts. I'll do a full instructional post later.
It was a much needed relaxing weekend :)
